Street Photography

This past Thursday, I had the privilege of doing some street photography with Chicago Tribune photographer Scott Strazzante. It was a great experience and I hope to shoot with him again in the future.

Trip to IU

This past weekend, I went to Indiana University with my friend Robbie Levin to photograph the Northwestern men’s basketball team. Of all the pictures I took, I enjoyed the below image most because of how it represented the basketball culture at Indiana. The kids showed up three hours before a low-key game against Northwestern. That is unheard of at NU!

A friend informed me that it’s not uncommon for students to wait 36 hours or more for marquee games. That dedication is certainly something the Wildcat fans can aspire to.

Check back this weekend! I will post:

The Snow

The news doesn’t always come to you, but sometimes it does. The snowstorm in the Chicagoland area on Tuesday and Wednesday was a shining example of a time the news came to me. The epic snowfall made for some really rewarding street photography. I shot Tuesday evening in Chicago and most of Wednesday in Evanston. Below are my favorites.
